Original Story - The Flip Side

This promises to be the first in a series of non-chronological shorts in which all the main characters are based on myself, my roommate and my friends. It'll probably be funnier if you know us, but I think it's hysterical. That said, have at you.

I find it very ironic that I saw the trailer for the new movie, the Hot Chick (hot girl turned into really geeky guy), soon after I read this story.

Question: Is Dean a real person? Sorry, just one of those random curiosities.

Cast and Characters

Everyone in this story is a real person. Granted, there have only been 5 characters introduced so far. All of them are based on real people.

Delia and Mavis are obvious. As is Nick (who is commonly referred to as Ben in other places). Bubba really is a guy who lives down the hall from us who would not be adverse to a random guy kissing him and would take Mavis' abuse in stride.
Dean is the only variable that no one but D and I have any knowledge of. He is a freshman who lives down the hall. He's the sweetest thing and amazingly friendly. The question of his sexuality remains to be seen, though neither D nor I really care at this point. We just thought he'd make a humorous addition to the story.
Soon to appear are Patrick and Romie. We're still debating what they are to do. We're also still debating if our Lady of Langley or Mackenzie (oh, god that'd be GREAT!) would add to the story or if they should be added just for realism. As I said, still under debate. Other than that...enjoy.
