To quickly update, as anticipated by her overreaction-- our roomie screwed us by moving out with absolutely no notice whatsoever the day before rent was due. I guess that's what I get for being nice enough to give her notice so she wouldn't be screwed had we only given her 30 days notice to move out when she was planning a trip back to NYC that
