Shimer just had a reunion this weekend and I think your name was on the "missing alum" list. If you are interested in alum related information, you may want to contact them.
added you back....lately my writing has bordered on mundane as i just moved back to houston and i've been obsessing over decorating my new apartment and trying to stay busy since i got dumped when i moved here...i suppose just a warning. There are some interesting gems to be found in the "creative writing" and "love story" tags and photos are under the "photo" tag...also my flicker site is the same name as this journal.
I don't write in my lj, i use blogger and a few other things (myspace/facebook/blogger), what about love story? i'm impressed with the rainer maria rilke quote, and it's going pretty good so far (last night I met a girl I think I may be crushing on). it's odd/creepy/sentimental(mostly sentimental) that you remembered about my story. i've met too many people off of austincommunity and been severely disappointed, so i'm not suggesting that, but you seem pretty cool. i'll keep reading and commenting.
Yes...i moved to Austin in jan of 2007 from Chicago to work at Planned parenthood, which i thought would be my dream job. It ended up being sort of nightmareish actually and so after a year, I was looking to do something that would pay me well (I've got a crushing amount of student debt from going to a pretentious liberal arts school). She encouraged me to consider moving here, and I was excited about the cheap rent, high pay and the prospect of living closer to her. I promised myself when I considered the move that I would do it regardless of if I was with her or not, and I decided wanted to do it -- so I did in June of this year. However, I didn't actually expect her to dump me 5 days after I arrived. It was weird and totally unprecedented. So yeah...at least we weren't dating for very long (about 3 months) -- mostly I'm just

I added French Camp Academy to my list of schools this morning and was surprised to find other (former?) attendees on LJ.
I was curious and clicked; based on your tags, I think we'd find each other interesting. I attended very briefly during my sophomore year in 1990. It's highly doubtful that we know each other, but I thought I'd comment anyway.
Most of my journal is friends only in LJ, but if you'd like a sense of me first, try www.lillybell.com
hey, saw you you on fats, and after stalking a bit figured out we're both anxiety ridden sex workers! (well, actually, I'm not working these days, but still) we should friend out.
