He'd not meant to get up early, not after the eventful day he'd had before. He'd planned to sleep in, throw some clothes in the laundry, and then head to the dinner performance he'd set up for the evening ( ... )

While getting settled at the counter, a familiar voice drew his attention up and off to the side. Blinking several times, quickly, trying to perhaps clear his vision. If it was playing tricks on him. But the familiar figure of one Ninomiya Kazunari was sitting plain as day not far from where he himself was sitting. He stared. Jaw dropping slightly as his mind tried to catch up with the shock and surprise of seeing the other here.

That was most definitely not something he suspected. To see someone that he actually knew.

Getting up, he closed the distance and slide into the seat next to the other, reaching out to tap the other man on the shoulder on the other side of him. Grinning as he looked up to wave his hand at the guy serving, indicating silently that he wanted the same thing that Nino had ordered.

It was a trick he hardly fell for on a normal day, but this situation was far from normal. He turned his head to the side, feeling the tap on his shoulder, but the person beside him was clearly drowning his sorrows - focused solely on the drink in front of him. Slowly turning to the other side, just in case he'd been fooled, he sputtered at the sight of his friend.

"Aiba-chan!" he exclaimed, visibly relaxing and nudging him hard for messing with him.

It was getting a little eerie, how often he bumped into people he knew in this place. Made him wonder if he wasn't really losing his mind and this was all some dream. But as much as he'd wanted to hide his interest in the boutique, it seemed better to have a familiar face around. It was comforting, knowing you wouldn't go throw anything alone.

"Don't tell me you came here to drink on your own!" Nino pretended to chastise, knowing he was in the same position.

It was hard not to laugh and give away his position when Nino took the bait and looked around to his other side. Aiba had to bring up a hand to slap over his mouth to muffle the snickering. Laughing even harder when Nino realized that he was being played and turned around to look at him.

“Well, you know, sometimes a cute guy like me can‘t find a place to drink in peace…” Aiba flashed a toothy grin in Nino’s direction, taking the drink that was handed to him and brought it up to his nose to take a quick wift. “Thought it‘d be best to go …nice and far for some peaceful drinking?” Then, he hadn’t planned on drinking when he arrived, but who could pass up the opportunity to be in a real saloon, and have a couple of drinks. The best way to stay out of trouble at least. He hoped.

He clapped Nino on the back, curious to why the other was here. What were the chances? “And what brings Nino-chan here?”
