So I was at therapy yesterday, and we got to talking about my insecurities regarding my looks. My therapist asked how long I had had them, and I tried to remember a time when I didn’t have them, but couldn’t. The oldest firm memory I could come up with was me at 3, maybe 4. I know how you feel. Insecurity about looks is hard. It is especially hard when it comes to filling out online dating profiles.

You are so pretty my dear. And yes it would be wonderful to be free from that kind of thinking. You can definitely change your thinking patterns, it will just take a little time.

I don't remember how far back my insecurities go, but they're pretty far. The memories get stronger around second grade. And it's horrible now. Especially when I go to yoga. I compare myself to every single female in the room. It's usually "well, I'm the largest one in here yet again!" But I'm more bendy than most of them. :)

It's awful, I wish we could all just be happy!

I remember my insecurities starting to surface aroud 6 or 7. I started getting chunky in 2nd grade and that lasted until 8th grade.
