I noticed a large mat in the huge winter ruff my Fluffkitten currently sports. So I tried to remove it. It was big enough to require scissors.

And she squirmed at precisely the wrong moment.

Now her magnificent whiskers are only half as magnificent on the right side.

...Doesn't seem to bother her, but I feel terrible about it.

Poor Dervish. She will be fine though. And her whiskers will come back soon enough.
