This might not be up your alley, but you're the first person I've come across in many years who might have any idea what I'm talking about.

My favorite computer game 20 years ago was freeware for Apples, "Monty's Revenge". I kept that floppy for many many years, and I haven't tossed out the ol' IIGS hoping that one day I'll come across the floppy again.

Have you ever heard of this game, do you know if it's been written for PCs, anything? My kids and I loved that game, and I was an expert. Expert, I tell you.

However, I'm not sure what format it is in... ie, what you have to do to get it to play right. You might be able to save it to a floppy disk and install it on your old Apple, or you may be able to run it on your PC if you download a special Emulator. Sorry to be so slow to check back. I have no memory and totally forgot about it!

OMG I found it!!! I am so excited--I hope that I can play it on the PC; if not, I hope that sitting in a garage for many years won't have ruined the Apple IIgs!!!
