It is times like these that remind me how very, very much I love fandom. This has been moving pretty fast, but there have definitely been some developments. Most of these developments have been in the Fuck You Delicious We Are Leaving area, but there are also developments on the Del front. does "reimplement" bundles just mean that we can make them again, or that we'll get back the data for our (in some cases) 6 years of work curating thousands of links into bundles? because frankly i'm a lot angrier about losing my work/facing the idea of having to completely manually redesign my bundles from scratch without any reference to my previous system* than the possbility of actualy having to use delicious without bundles.

*even if del is a lost cause for future functionality and i move permanently to pinboard, without access to at least a list of my bundles and their contents i have this problem and frnakly i will never again in my life have the spare time required to recreate what i had

The Delicious Beta Status blog says that they have "retained all data" about tag bundles and networks and subscriptions, so hopefully no re-building will be needed. Just gotta wait and see if they come back on their own. ::crosses fingers::

Nearly all of my tags have a colon, and that does seem to work.

Parentheses do not, and I am annoyed, because about half of my tags use those.

The good news is that you can now view all your tags, and the special characters are fixed. Unfortunately I can't seem to view all the tags of another user, it still only lists the most recent and that's it. And a minor annoyance - when you click on a username, it takes you directly to their stacks. You can click the "links" tab to get to their bookmarks, no big deal, but it's still annoying because most people haven't created any stacks yet so it's just a blank page.

The beta blog promises the return of most of the old features, so I guess I'll be patient.

I'm not getting 404'd with special characters, but I'm still being told I have no bookmarks with the period, double period, and pound symbol/hashkey (#). Since some users aren't having problems, is this maybe being slowly implemented rather than site-wide all at once ( ... )
