OMFG, how I want to see it now...
You know, I was planning to go to the Star Trek movie just because.
The trailers were decent, and I've always been a huge fan of Kirk and Spock. Seeing them as young!Kirk and young!Spock would have been cool.
But then there was *this...*
And suddenly, it's not a "just because" movie, but rather a "that trailer looked awesome and OMG, it's Kirk, Spock, Kirk, Spock!!!" movie. Complete with fangirl bouncing...
Whoever did that trailer deserves an award 'cause I suspect that it stirred up a hell of a lot more interest than the others did.
So...squee!! I think I'm going to buy tickets early. If it's anything like the Dark Knight, even with preordering the tickets, I'll still be in a huge lineup waiting to go in...
*EDIT* - I do have to wonder about their casting though...I'm going to be forever associating Spock with Sylar now, and that's just *evil*. The plotbunnies are already attacking...
