That really, really sucks. You may want to skip town for a bit. Like, as in, months, if not years. The chemicals they use to clean this stuff up are, without hyperbole, deadly.

it's horrible. i've driven from kzoo through the towns most affected by the leak... the smell is horrid and the oil is everywhere. here is some video i took of the river running through battle creek:
