I can't imagine it either -- the experiences of generations where people had so many children are so far removed from our own... Glad you got to visit her last summer. My sympathies, and Thinking of you.

I'm glad you got to visit with her when you were home. I think of all the stories my grandmothers shared with me about their younger days and it's remarkable how much the world has changed in a relatively short time. I'm glad I got to hear all those stories.
