First day of Internship...
Started the morning at 4:30 am, arrived by 5:30 am. Saw 7 pts. in the AM before rounds, participated in 3 deliveries (two I caught myself) and 1 perineal repair. Got splashed in the face with blood from a squirting umbilical cord. Wrote and wrote orders, progress notes, admin notes, updated lists

I am very glad you love your job. HolyShitBees, I would drop so many squirming little bundles of new life if I had to do that. The mom would be all "You dropped my baby!" and I would be all "It was slippery, what do you expect?!?"
