I've never had a bird before and after eating breakfast at R Thomas a couple of weeks ago I got a bug in my bonnet about getting a canary.  We went out and got one last weekend, but it turned out that it was a girl.  Girl=No song  There's no real way to sex canaries.  If they sing its a boy if not you got the girle.  I'm all abouththe grrl power ( Read more... )

I am so impressed with my husband.  Yesterday was his interview at PCOM.  He made their "A" list (first round of interviews) and he charmed the hell out of them.  Although they didn't confirm that he had a seat in the Class of 07, they did confirm that he was going to be accepted into their school.  He might be required to finish his Masters degree ( Read more... )
