Hellboy and the...  Mean Green Fighting Machine!?

Seriously, that green giant (heh, Green Giant... with the leaves and all? get it? oh shut up) thing looked like an Evil Ent. And with the elves and all... for a minute there, I totally thought I had walked into the wrong theater playing a different movie.

Hellboy and the... Semi-Expected Boss Fight?!

good heavens, do you get a lot of earthquakes? @_@ I used to get those when I lived in Japan, not terribly fun really.

I liked that movie, really I'm sure I had some problems with it, but can't recall what they were now, but I had no expectations at all, I like to lower my expectations, all the way! then I can be pleasantly surprised if a film is any good at all. for fantasy/sf films, these days all I hope for is good special effects, and neat looking sets, icing, if there's some cake under it, well, yay! sad it's come to that, but there we are. I rarely will pay to see a film on the big screen if it isn't a spectacle, anything else I can wait for video on.

the kid devil actor, so well cast, and made up!

No, not really. In fact, I've been saying A LOT lately that here in Panama we're safe from the hurricanes that plague the Caribbean and the earthquakes that plague Central America (I think I've written that exact same phrase a dozen times now =P)... so much that maybe I jinxed it. Hahaha! Nah, but really. It was a 4.6 in the Richter scale, which, according to Wikipedia is "Light. Noticeable shaking of indoor items, rattling noises. Significant damage unlikely."

but I had no expectations at all, I like to lower my expectations Exactly! That's why I don't read reviews or watch trailers (and when I'm actually *in* the theaters and trailers come up, I hide my head under my sweatshirt and cover my ears! =P), specially *before* seeing a film, but I had heard so much about this one that... well, I guess it just rubbed off on me. Bummer. I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't read anything about it. I like to be surprised!

That's why I haven't even DARED to look at all the "Watchmen" stuff floating around the 'Net.

I haven't watched the Watchmen trailer yet either, but I think I might. it can never live up to the comic anyway, so no sense getting too excited I guess. hopefully it'll be cool anyway.

I watched the Watchmen trailer, who watches the Watchmen? me that's who, the trailer anyway, and I will watch the movie too when it come out. (and this time I won't miss it on the big screen!) I looks awesome. good Pumpkin's tune on the trailer too. I still won't get my hopes up too much for the film to live up to the hype of the trailer, but it was pretty cool. and as my friend Donna points out, you can see Dr. Manhattan's junk. zomg. lol.

ps 9 is my favourite number, incidentally.
