Crock Pot Curried Chicken

Yesterday there was a post on what_a_crock about making curry in a crock pot. Which made me crave curry. So I made some. In a crock pot. Normally I make it on the stove, but I'm trying to adjust more recipes for use in the crock to save some time. It was pretty good, but a bit milder than I like my curry since I wanted to make sure my family could eat it

oh i love curry! i usually just make it on the stove too. but i've been meaning to get a crock pot for the longest time so when i do i'll have to try this recipe!

oh by the way i have that absinthe robette picture framed on my livingroom wall :)

I love my crock pot. My brother got it for me as a wedding gift, and I use it all winter long. When you do get one, I recommend what_a_crock for recipes, tips and answering general questions. But the basic point is anything you would cook on the stove top for any length of time you can put in the crock pot. Since it heats all the way around rather than just on the bottom, you don't have to stir it or anything. So you can throw everything in before you leave the house for work and come home to a fantastic home cooked meal. (Can you tell I love mine??)

Absinthe robette is a great poster. My friend jettdelirium has it just outside her kitchen. I'm settling for the icon until we buy a bigger house and I can tie a print into the decor better. There are several other beautiful absinthe prints if you like the theme, just do an image search on the terms "absinthe green fairy" and "le fey verte".

yeah i love the idea of the crockpot cooking while i'm at work and not have to cook dinner when i get home :) i think i'll get one soon. i have so many freakin kitchen appliances! lol i just bought a fondue set and the pancake puffs pan last week. haha
