I grew up drinking non-homogenized and non-pasteurized milk from a friend's farm, so homogenized/pasteurized milk tastes watery and bland to me. I'm interested to see what my kids think of the homogenized stuff.
And as long as we are on the topic, some studies are now saying that non-homogenized milk is also healthier and links homogenized milk to heart disease. But I haven't read any of them in enough depth to say if they are just propaganda.

I've seen raw milk at Whole Foods and Henry's (part of the Wild Oats franchise) out here, but I think California is one of the few states that allows raw-milk sales. I suspect out there if you wanted real raw milk, you'd have to talk to a farmer you trust.

I will be reading up on it more as I have time. If there really is sound biochemistry behind anything I'll let you know. But as you pointed out, we really don't know as much about nutrition as we really should.
