I got an ice cream maker. It is only due to the sad inability of my freezer to do it's job quickly that I have not gained 20lbs in the last week

The only fridge I've known to freeze ice cream makers in a short period of time are the serious Subzero models...and they run from $4k upward for good ones.

After 12 hours, the bowl usually isn't still slushy, but it still defrosts faster than it freezes the ice cream.
