In this particular series of cases, he's been telling me that he'll "probably" need me to be somewhere (often quite a ways away), and then the next I hear about it, I'm getting an angry call of "why aren't you hear?!" The much broader terms above certainly still apply in my experience, though. And at least guys know what they -don't- want, that's more than I can get out of most women!

And yeah, but they don't tell you until afterwards.

Even with silly stuff. "What colors do you like?" "I dunno, doesn't matter, I'm a guy!" "What do you think of this?" "Not really a fan of the color." "...>_

That one I figured out early on. Look at his wardrobe, look at what it doesn't contain any of at all, and stay away from that.
