I can't help but think I might be missing something easy, so I thought I'd ask you guys! See, Ronnie keeps coming back with bruises from football practice, so I started buying steaks to put on the bruises! Like you see on TV, you know. A-Ah, ma'am, is the steak that you're applying to your husband still frozen?

Of course not! That would make it hard to cook afterwards. It's just fresh-bought steak from the fridge.

Oh, well, that's your problem, then! The steak has to be very cold to reduce any swelling. You could try using ice or a pack of frozen vegetables, like peas. My sister did that when I'd get bruise when I was little.

Oh really? I didn't realize that's why they always did that on TV, but I guess that makes sense, doesn't it? Haha! Thank you! Peas make a less delicious dinner, but I guess I could just have Ronnie take me out.

If you came to watch one of my games, that would be GREAT!!! It sure would be fantastic to play while being cheered on by you...

I'll take you to a good steakhouse, Dessie. It can't beat your cooking, but the cuts they use at Hy's Encore are supposed to be amazing... They can't be bought at any regular grocery store!

I can't wait! I really do want to see you play! I bet you're amazing! <3

That sounds lovely, Ronnie! We should take a horse and carriage ride after that, I hear you can get one just outside the hotel in the evenings.

I don't think so... It's so tough to see my Ronnie in pain, you know? Besides, he's the toughest man I've ever had the pleasure to meet. It takes a lot of strength to let yourself be vulnerable. You're still young, so you should learn that now.
