I've been a bad LJ friend.

Sep 09, 2009 06:05

I've been neglecting my friends list, I wanted to apologize to the people who've helped me for so many years with their comments and perspectives.  I am really going to try and get caught up with what's going on.  What sucks is that I can't access LJ at work, and now I'm in another building where even my iPhone doesn't get a signal.  BLAST ( Read more... )

I'm not sure how big the guild is in WOW(I'm assuming horde), but you might look into my guild. The Old Timer's Guild, or OTG. Its been a home for me for the last 3 years and no matter what game I go to play I know I will have people there for me to ask questions and group with.

I have put in a request for more info like servers and chapter size for you. If you go to the forums and create an account you can find that thread in the WOW general forums. I will check back there for the answers anyways.

I forgot to mention the guild rules. There's really 3. 1.) RL comes first, 2) No Drama, 3) Have fun.

Oh and to get caught up with me look for a post titles "For Chris." It will give you a brief run down of the last year.

Depends upon if you want to be into solid RP or not. If you want to, there's always the Tears of Draenor. I know there are a number of guilds that are pretty successful and not screwed in the head with drama.

If you want fun-based RP, there's the Drunken Monkey Brewery (weapon runners who run a tavern for cover).

I would love the RP but my sidekick isn't too interested, he used to be an RP'er (in fact that's how I met him back in EQ1 while RPing) but he's kind of lost his mojo in that arena. =\

If you hear of any medium sized guilds that maybe want to start raiding please let me know! (Horde side)

Actually, I have a question for you. Do they still do regular RP these days? I checked out some of the links on the ER forums but a lot seem out of date, and I try the ER chat channel but it's pretty quiet.

The thing is, I'm a warlock. I kind of enjoy the RP group that hates us warlocks. My problem is finding other warlocks who embrace what they are and don't apologize for it. Heck, even DK's and their past history with the Burning Legion should be kindred of sorts. I only ever seem to run into the "honor honor honor" types. Am I alone in this?

Unfortunately, my old guild Tamarack Order is on the order side of ER. But they definitely meet casual.

If you come back to EQ2, let me know as we could use more raiders: 8pm-11pm EST mon-wed.

I would love that, I'll keep you posted. I'd have to dust off my necro and/or top off the levels on my warden depending on what's needed, but those times and dates would fit well.

The guild is tiny. We rely heavily on pickups, we've shed a lot of people and we're so small that if a few people can't make it, like tonight, we end up cancelling. But at least for me, finding an early EST guild has been terribly difficult in any game. Far easier for EST people to stay up later than for PST people to leave work at 4 in the afternoon.

We are always looking for good people. We're Alliance on Llane, raids are scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, 8-11ish pm EST. with random 10 mans popping up whenever the mood strikes.

Jenn is an officer, if you want to shoot her an email if your remotely interested :) equinnox1475@gmail.com

I know some people on Earthen Ring that seem to have a decent guild; I can get more info if you're interested.

Are they Hordeside by chance? If so, please do!

I think they were Alliance, unfortunately, but I'll check to make sure!
