It hit me like a ton of bricks that I’m sitting here moping that I had to work a little early because my company is growing- and she just lost her job.

Nothing like a little perspective.

My big brother just got his pink slip to leave as of December 29th, after like, 5 years of making almost 100,000 at this company. Nobody's buying houses anymore. He'll be alright, he won't get any of that severance or such, but he'll be able to find another job pretty easily. It's still shocking. <3
