If this was a petition, I was the first to sign. I can so see what you mean, I came to the very same conclusion recently. Because, no matter how you turn it, in the end, it's just you you have to worry about first and foremost.
Thank you for your support. I felt like I needed to spell out what was happening and why I felt the way I did. Especially when so many people had been so kind and gracious about it. *snugs*
It seems like the only thing I do on my journal any more is write some huge endless essay about something. Eep!
The bureacracy of getting help in the us is just unbelievable. I know one person how is virtually crippled as in wheel chair bound and in terrible pain every day and yet she can't get social security benefits. It's just a big ole case of wtf?
Thank you so much for your encouragement though. I appreciate it alot.
In life, and particularly online, people tend to look at things through the tunnel of their own needs, desires, and experiences. They can't, won't, or forget to think of things from the other person's p.o.v. It's not always meant maliciously, and it's a shame when it is. Either way, you are right, and you have to do what is best for you. Your RL is what is important, and how you choose to spend your time it totally up to you and not related to anyone except those whom you are close to, and above all, yourself

You know, I have really strong feelings about gaming. I feel very deeply that if you start gaming with someone, if you are role playing with them, particularly a couple, that you should have a good reason why you stop. So many people I think are irresponsible in this respect and I don't know anyone who hasn't had at least one bad experience where they were let down or whatever.
NO matter what good real life reasons there are, it's a let down. OF course it is. I'm definitely sensitive to that.
But, I think there comes a point to where for me at least its become like spending money. If you only have ten bucks in your pocket, you're going to be reaaaallly careful where you spend your ten bucks. No matter how much I want that thing that costs twenty, that ten dollar bill isn't going to change denomination. It's not a fun choice for me and just like the lady you're talking about, it's not fun for her to be short or impatient with people but she's driven to it by circumstances

You need to have positive vibes to lean on, not push you away from them at this time when you need to have as many friends to support you.

Thank you dear. I'm all for spreading the positive, even when I'm a whiny sack. <3
