Bloody meditations: meaning and language.

(The title, btw, is an in-joke within the Philosophy department at my uni - the head of Philosophy hates Descartes and his "bloody meditations", and so do the majority of the students, as we have to go over them so much.  There are other reasons for this but that's not the point of the post.)

Hahahahaha try doing my essay lol :D I'm actually shocked there isn't brain matter on the wall right now.

either lj is being an arse or you layout has formatted some of my reply into oblivion - sorry if there are bits that don't make sense as a result. the edit function has evaporated too. ;(

Korzybski was the name i linked to Burroughs - general semantics leading to language is a virus etc.

Oh my, so many of my thoughts are "I know what I'm thinking, I just have no idea how to explain it", or sometimes it's "I don't even want to try to explain it because it won't be half as awesome when I do", even if I would be just "explaining" it to myself, not to someone else. So I guess I agree with you. :D
