In 1998 the videogame Grim Fandango was released, and it can't have been long after that RH (as she is now called) set us up with a copy.  We played the heck out of it.  I don't believe we ever finished, but it entertained us for weeks.  Now I'm delighted to see that it has been re-issued in a "remastered" version with cleaned up graphics but

I just spent the last couple of weekends churning through Grim and it was indeed a nice bit of reminiscence.

Sadly not. It's 5 hours in the air by Mooney, which is equivalent to commercial when you factor in changing planes in Charlotte. But 5 hours in one seat is longer than J wants to spend, and there were some concerns about dispatch rate (though the weather tomorrow looks glorious). So I shall sit in economy class like a chump.
