DESIRED CLASS & REASONING | Edge Punisher. He's seen in chapters 9 and 10 with a large two-handed sword that he wields easily enough, despite it being incredibly heavy. His weapon of choice earlier on, as well, was a baseball bat.

Ehhh, an MMO setting, huh? Very steampunk and detailed, I like it so far. Is this the new Di[e]ce, maybe? This seems to be the starting point, but there's an awful lot of other people.

Looks like the town square below, but no one's acting like a zombie or attacking anyone else. I guess it wouldn't hurt to go check it out. If they start looking like this, I guess I wouldn't mind playing Di[e]ce for a while.

BECAUSE MAKING HARUKI A HARVEST CLERIC IS WIMPY B| No, not really. Most of the promotional images show him with a sword (although, up to his canon point, Haruki has not been shown fighting 'on stage' if you will) This class seems to match his elegant disposition the most. Unless Jamie or someone else would like to recommend me something, then by all means :)

Haruki is a very composed individual; the world could be going to hell in a handbasket and the only thing on his mind would be is Kazuki okay!? how to get out of there in one piece. He's quite the thinker and seems to be the more academically inclined one of the pair. While Haruki is really good at figuring things out - he intends to find a way to stop the game of di[e]ce that he and Kazuki are wrapped up in - he isn't one for video games preferring to read a book instead. As a result, he sometimes misses some of the clues that Kazuki notices right off the bat. Being the smart kid that he is though, Haruki's catching up fast ( ... )

I wasn't expecting to wake up here... He mentioned going to our next game but this wasn't anything like what I expected. As for this little piece of equipment [he trails off] I wonder what the goal is.

Are you even letting Adept Rouges in this early in the game? ahaha. Shadow Warlock is Shadow's first job (Blade Brandier at job extend). Basically, this is just me poking fun of his abilities in game, as he was capable of wielding Chaos Energy - comparable to magic - first then swords in later games (along side guns). But always in conjunction with his Chaos abilities, because that is who he is. Also, based on the .hack 'point-buy' system for Adept Rouges, I thought it would be more fitting for him to be a Warlock and a Blade, as all the other classes that might work for him don't combine well at all... If there's any problem with him starting as a Warlock, I can switch it around. /

PERSONALITY | Shadow is about as anti-social (read; socially retarded) as one can get in the Sonic fandom, second to only the two Guardians and maybe Silver (for... very similar reasons too). However, his moral compass has been a bit skewed due to fifty years with only the memory of Maria's death as company; while not as 'RAWR RAWR' about humans, Shadow still thinks that they're the lowest of the low. He's only protecting them because of the promise he made to that poor sick girl aboard the ARK and maybe to keep Sonic off his case. Or so he claims. Like other darker, edgier anti-heroes before him, Shadow doesn't care if something will put him on the wrong side of the law so long as it gets him where he needs to go. Such as working with Eggman or another mad man all for the sake of finding out about his past ( ... )

THIRD-PERSON SAMPLEIt would have been so easy; just saying yes to Mephiles' offer to join with him, to avoid his - supposedly - unchangeable fate of being sealed away once more. But he hadn't. He had turned down Mephiles' offer, not once, but twice. And he had done it all without too much thought. Black Doom had tried to do the same thing and Shadow had shared the sentiment for a while. Fueled largely by hate, anger and bitter disappointment Shadow had done as Doom's Eye had instructed; he'd just about obliterated Central City and killed the president all so an insane alien dictator could use the world as food. PERSONALITY | Ken is immediately notable for his maturity beyond his years. He speaks more politely than many teenagers and adults, drinks black coffee and openly states his belief that Minato is immature for putting sugar and cream in his, and learns to fight using a weapon that is too large for him in order to compensate for his lack of height. He faces the Dark Hour, Tartarus, and the Shadows of his own free will, and remains very composed in situations that would scare the pants off your average adult ( ... )

...I must be, if I’m talking to myself. Is it an escape? I don’t know if that makes things better or worse… maybe neither one. In the end, I can’t really escape from that.

DESIRED CLASS & REASONING | Harvest Cleric
Hakuren is an apprentice bishop; despite being able to only use offensive/attack-type Zaiphon with his Baculus, he has admitted that he prefers the helpful, healing sorts of tasks. He appears happiest when Bishop Castor takes him to a distant hospital to help the sick and wounded there. Also, clergymen in 07-Ghost use Baculus in conjunction with their zaiphon, thus making a very nice parallel the the way that Harvest Clerics work. :)

Castor was able to change Hakuren's mind after he brought the youth to a hospital on the outskirts of the district. There, Hakuren came to realize that if he did tutor the princess then it meant there was a way for the voices of the weak to be heard. Even if he was no longer directly involved with the church, he had not forgotten all that he learned and so would continue to pursue the route he had chosen. So he thanked Castor for teaching him well and then departed for the Capital.
PERSONALITY | Hakuren's a bit of an odd one. On one hand, he's arrogant, narcissitc and air headed, often times showing off in front of other apprentices or seemingly glossing over rather important details (Hakuren... There's a baby dragon perched on your head...). On the other hand, he has been shown repeatedly as someone who truly does care about the well being of others. This stems from his honest intention of becoming a bishop; a choice he made early in life when his mother - who was possessed by a Kor - was saved by a ( ... )

Oh, is that how this works? Though I think using zaiphon is much more convenient than this, even if it's much more accessible. Communication must be much faster here than in Barsburg.
Speaking of here, how many of us have only just arrived? Since it appears that there were people who live in this town, it might be beneficial to us all to find others in similar situations... Finding a way home might be faster with more of us working together.
