How does one know when change is neccesary? When is it time to stop being patient, and to move on? My life is pretty good right now, but I feel stagnent. I know where I want to go, and I can probabaly get there eventually if I stay where I'm at. But that's as unknown as any other factor in my life. after going through the entire thing of applying to grad school (and making the decision to actually do it), i've learned (and heard from several people) that i shouldn't get too comfortable in a job. yes, you might be content with what you are doing, but there's so much more out there, and if you don't push yourself now, it will be much harder when you do settle down with a family (might as well get ahead now--it'll give you more options later in life) :-D ( ... )

eh, i wasn't being serious. I'm not hoping she dumps me or anything. If anything, I'm just concerned she'll do it without any warning. I never seem to see those things coming.
