There are more constructive ways to get your message across than protesting. They shut down my city for 4 days and cost the Feds over $1Bn in security, and quite a bit of productivity and money was lost on Bay St.

The protesters fucking burned cars, smashed bank and Starbucks windows, attacked cops. They deserved the treatment they received. You weren't here, seeing it happen, getting locked down in your building...

Then why did they arrest 200 people doing a peaceful sit in and hold them for 26 hours? What about the people dining across the street who left the restaurant just as the police came? The homeless guy who didn't even know what the G20 was? The 16 year old who couldn't call his parents for 26 hours?

I know the Black Bloc went overboard, they always do, but the people they arrested long after the main group of protesters left, the ones peacefully sitting in streets at 10 PM, those weren't the problem.
