I'm going to be the editorial intern, meaning copy editing for their new book, proofing layouts, looking for vintage content for books, that kind of thing. They're a "retro" press, so they do a ton of reproduction 50s pinup type stuff, etc. i'm hoping that the book i work on has some sort of women's focus so anne will sign off on this being my practicum (she knows that i'm interested in the editing/publishing world of feminist presses, but this might be a bit of a stretch). either way, i'm reallly really excited because they seem like a really fun place to work!
