Awesome Myspace Ads

Nov 17, 2005 16:12

I'm one of those people who use Myspace now, mostly because I can have lots of pictures of myself to look at and say "Man, I'm so handsome." My favorite thing about Myspace (besides myself, but that's my assumed favorite thing in all contexts) are the ads. Sometimes, I just reload over and over to look at them.

I just found out I'm pregnant! )

I downloaded a 10,000 emoticon package once on my old laptop when I was going to reformat the drive anyway, just because I needed to see with my own eyes these 10,000 emotions. It was very anticlimatic.

Did they include a guide to tell you what each emoticon represented? After the first 100, it seems like you'd have 9,900 variations on "happy because there is a new episode of your favorite program on" or "sad because the file of emoticons you downloaded stole all your credit card numbers and made a nasty phone call to your employer using your voice and personal information."

After about ten of them, they weren't even representing emotions anymore. It was like, "I'm mooning you!" "Fuck you!" letters of the alphabet, so on. Fortunately, last year I didn't have any credit cards or employers to worry about. :)

Letters of the alphabet? Man, I use those all the time. I need to check out that emoticon package.

It's weird because today all I see are University of Phoenix ads. They're even popping up in both slots when I load certain pages.

I'm at pityrant, which I probably should have thought about more before settling on. Alas!
