I woke up last week with the first 2 lines in my head. I had to take a break when I went to work, and I couldn't wait to get off so I could go and finish writing it.
I knew it was probly' the best poem I've written to date as I was writing it. I could feel it...don't ask HOW, but I could feel it.
The poem was done after I had the 3rd stanza, but something inspired me to write the 4th one, and I'm really glad I did. I couldn't tell you where the lines, "My love, in those moments when we yearned for nothing but each other, it was we who cast the stars to thoughts of envy and wonder" came from. I just wrote it and was like, "WOW THAT'S GOOD." *pats self on back.*
But thank you again! I would really like to read it in a performance. But where to start? *scratches chin*

"If you're gonna' be bulimic, at least do the responsible thing and find a nest of baby birds to raise." HAHAHA.
