I am shocked that it never occurred to me that applying to out-of-state schools only might be a problem...seriously...what is wrong with me? Obviously it would not be a problem if I only got one interview like I assumed. But no! NO! I got THREE! Ridiculous! That means I have to GO OUT THERE and pay at least $300 per school to just INTERVIEW

It would suck and take lots of time, but have you checked into greyhound? Or weird flying deals? Sometimes you can really get the price down to travel.
