Nice nice!

If I can toss my two cents in: I have a Devinci that I picked up about 5 yrs ago and it has seen a lot of miles and it still performs as well as the day I got it. Comfortable, right height, solid frame and just an all around great bike, I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

:)

Is it tacky to ask how much it was?

mine? It was the end of the season sale about $950. Worth every penny to me for as much milage I have got out of it.

Before taxes, I think we said $550. They're generally about $700, I think. I would have loved to take a step up beyond that, but I was starting to have a hard time seeing a tangible difference between that point and the next step up. It wasn't until I crossed $750 (on sale) that I started to really notice a worthwhile difference and by then it was out of my price range.

Which Devinci do you have, Morpheous? I loved some of their road bikes, but they are hardly suited to Winnipeg's road conditions and terrain.

I felt that way, too, when I switched to my hybrid bike, although I have tons of added features to make it more comfortable over efficient now. I rode it for two years with not enough air in the tires and had my mind blown again when my roommate inflated my tires properly for me at the end of last summer.

I would really like a cheap mountain bike to attempt the monkey trails, but I think thats out of budget. I also want a cheap throw away "its ok if its stolen downtown" bike to leave at my parents for use there.

Bikes are awesome!
