I'd heard AH said something to upset shippers but I made a point to not look it up. If it was just that she didn't see R & I together then that's not so bad, I don't see it either.

But, I also make a point of not reading her political opinion, which I'm pretty sure would just piss me off. I like R&I, not as much as I'd hoped, and I like her L&O episodes so I don't want to have to stop watching.

Is it fair to hold their personal lives against their acting? Probably not, but it's human nature. I can't watch Tom Cruise anymore. Or Mel Gibson, which sucks because he's in Jodie Foster's new movie, but I don't know if I can watch it with him in it.

I've been told my fuse is getting shorter as I get older, especially on certain topics, so I find it best to not go looking for a match.

This didn't even have anything to do with politics. She asked about an actor to play Jane's love interest, many people said Sasha, she let it go on for a while, even with 'lol' and 'anything is poss.', and then said 'okay, now a MAN please.' That was ALL. For the life of me, I can't figure out how people can see anything hateful or homophobic in that. It just boggles the mind. I've kept myself very up to date with her interviews, and while I disagree on some things, there was never actually anything homophobic to be found.
Also, you know that I think Lindsay and Cindy would have made the most beautiful couple in TV history, but there would be something weird about shoving it into straight actresses' faces and expect them to see things the same.

That seems pretty tame. But then I've heard of some shippers who can be a bit obsessive. Not that I know of any personally, of course.
