For four years, I've posted 98 percent of my entries so they are viewable to the public. But now that I'm finished with grad school, I'm making the transition to making my journal private. If you're someone who has been following my LJ, please get an account (if you don't have one already) and friend me.

-sigh- Your going adult only makes me feel older. When I'm back in the States and my journalism/dance criticism mate from TX is in NY we'll have to get a mad intellectuals dinner on at Momofuku (Noodle or Ssam Bar). BTW, if you've not been to Verlaine (Rivington, just west of Essex), they have an excellent happy hour. Ask for Gary, the bartender and one of the partners.

Sure, I've been meaning to try Momofoku for a long time. I haven't tried the other place (didn't get down to the LES enough when I lived in the Upper West Side), but now that I'm much closer to there I'll try it. Let me know when you're back.

Me too. Now that I have a real job at a major media outlet, I feel a little weird having all my private thoughts available for all to see.

Very true. I'm in the opposite situation -- I am fairly open (hence my journal being almost entirely public until recently), but I've heard enough horror stories about that damaging people professionally.
