Rita's on the way to Houston. Millions are evacuating so the roads are all blocked. My parents didn't get going fast enough so now they'll have to ride out the storm. All the water and batteries in the stores are gone - but the tap water's still good, so maybe they'll be able to bottle some of that. hehe looks like we are buckled in too... though dad seems to indicate that they might redecide tommorow afternoon or something. No batteries here either. But we do have candles, matches, and charcoal... does that count? *chuckles*

I hope your parents come out good. I know they are in a more low laying area than us. I'm mostly wondering what the wind will be like....

It's more because they're close to the bayou. But yeah, they're relocating to a house in West U, heh. So, at the very least, your house will probably be better off than mine. ;)

And after Alison, I'm not so attached to the house, so emotionally, it's not so bad (though my dad's checkbook will probably be very sore come Sunday).
