Thank you. Really. Just...thank you. So off to fic...you managed to combine this heart-wrenching pain with a good measure of hope in this chapter, and it really shines. The whole scene in the floor, when Demi is sobbing and not making sense, is absolutely beautiful. You can really feel Selena's desperation in her reassurances and in how tightly she holds Demi, like she's literally afraid to let her go. Her little rant is perfect because she acknowledges that she herself probably doesn't deserve Demi, but that she doesn't dwell on it because she has her and that's all that really matters. But I think it's Demi's honesty here, It's hard okay... it's hard to just make that stupid voice in my head disappear. I've been trying. I haven't thought it in a while. It's just...Nick...he-, that really gets me, because in many ways it's a daily battle to silence that voice, at least at first.

The whole Superman/Supergirl exchange is adorable, and their decision to tell their parents seems bittersweet because it probably won't end well. I love
