and hey, nice job with the backstory. It's harsh, but i would believe it. Her parents are caring and awesome and wonderful, but Alex can get passionate (she is an artist, after all :P ) and so if an emotional hex gets written, it could mean bad news. but neither do i believe she would ever use it. misunderstandings and flaring tempers = sent away alex. very nice job.
