I think the thing that has me most curious about this fic is Sonny. You've managed to turn her into an enigma wrapped in a mystery. On the one hand, we see bits of her canon self pop out on rare occasions, but then we see the mask she has on, and I can't help but wonder what happened to her to make her this way, or if it's part of how she ended up at this school.

Also, quick thing: how canon compliant are you going here? Like, does So Random! exist in this universe?

The muffins are kind of fascinating me, Alex must conjure up a really good muffin, I'm hoping she has an 'I knew it' type moment if Alex's wizardry is revealed.

Anyway Muffins aside I adore this and am looking forward to more to see what happens when Selena returns the iPhone.

i love how completely smitten alex is with sonny but she tries to keep her snarky and sarcastic behavior in check, but she also manages to make sonny smile. she kinda reminds me of me actually. i'll do anything to hear the girl i'm crushing on laugh. it makes me so happy to make other people happy.

and totally random but, i know you don't know what i look like, but just picture me doing some square dancing tomorrow, yeah that's how the counselors are gunna break the ice and get to know each other. i bought a straw hat for the occasion lol.
