03. How did you find out about the Percy Jackson series? Through my cousin. He’s pretty in love with the series.

04. What do you wish to accomplish in life? Firstly, I want to get into the college of my dreams (Azusa Pacific, if any of you know of it). I want to study psychology and become a family and child psychologist/counselor. I find human development and psychology fascinating and want to pursue a career in that and be successful in that career. Also, I want to master the guitar and piano because music is something really important to me and I’ve been working on this for a year now.
05. What type of magical object would you like to have? I would like to have a locket that enhances memory and can make you learn quicker. This way I could wear it when I’m studying or trying to learn an instrument/language/history dates and I would be able to learn more quickly and have more time to do all the other things I want to do.
06. What makes you like or dislike a person? I like people with a good sense of humor and that can make me laugh. (Not that it’s actually hard to make me laugh, but I still like people who can.) I like to be happy (who doesn’t?) and being around people who positively affect me like that are people I want to be around. Also, I like people who like to read (okay, it sounds kind of silly I guess, but I think reading is a beautiful thing and I don’t understand people who think reading is a chore and think I’m weird for reading so much) and people who like to discuss topics with a lot of depth to them. Lastly, I like people who can be serious and get down to business when necessary but who are also fun-loving and easy going when it isn’t.
I dislike people who are fake or like to put others down. Also, people who claim to be open-minded but then go and bash someone else’s beliefs and call them stupid for being a certain religion or liking/thinking something that said “open-minded” person disagrees with.
07. Are you a leader or a follower? I can be both, but I prefer being a leader. I like to take charge and give directions and oversee plans so that I’m sure it will get done. But I’m a pretty easy-going leader who can easily slip into a follower’s mentality if the situation needs it.
08. What would you consider your fatal flaw? I tend to think too much and do too little. I like to daydream and plan and analyze what it is I want to do, and I find that when I do this I have very little time to actually accomplish what I’d like to or feel as if I’ve already done it and just put it off altogether.

01. Passionate - I have goals and ambitions and dreams and beliefs and I will stand up for them and try to do whatever I can to see that I live them out.
02. Creativity - I love to write, create graphics, make music and poetry and fill the world with beautiful things.

04. Love to learn - Seriously, as weird as some people might find it, I absolutely love learning - whether it’s a new language, an instrument, grammar, scientific theories, math theories, or history, I love to learn.
05. Low maintenance/easy-going - I’m by no means a perfectionist (unless it’s about my writing, in which I am) and I don’t set crazy high expectations. But at the same time I don’t let people walk all over me either. So I think it’s a pretty good balance.
10. What do you think are your top five worst qualities?
01. Easily distracted - If I’m not really into something it’s not difficult for my mind to wander and I sometimes unknowingly check out of a conversation and can irritate people because of it.
02. Too much “play before work” - I will put off all my work until the last minute and spend all my time trying to find fun, and while I do get my work done in the end, it isn’t always my best effort.
03. Over-analytical - I over think things way too much and like to look over every aspect of a situation before I act.
04. Think I’m “indestructible” - I have that mentality that I can do whatever and the consequences won’t apply to me.
05. Introverted - Sometimes I will shut off from everyone and everything without warning, and while I don’t think introversion itself is bad, I think that I tend to do this to avoid dealing with something I really don’t want to deal with and end up straining relationships and often making the situation worse.

11. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? This is a very hard question because there are currently three characters tied for being my favorite, but I think that I’ll go with Annabeth. She’s daring and strong and bright and willing to go after what she wants. (And she’s really fun to read and write fan fiction on.)
12. Who is your least favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? Other than Kronos (who I’m not counting, because we’re really supposed to hate him), I’d have to go with Luke. I never could like his character, and the fact that he was willing to sacrifice a kid who thought of him as somewhat of a friend kind of pissed me off. He got to meet and get to know Percy a little and then just sent him to what he thought was his death and later tried to kill him himself when that failed. I know he repented and had a change of heart later, but he was so blinded by hatred that he let it ruin himself.
13. If you could spend a day with one of the Percy Jackson characters, who would you choose and why? Rachel. She seems like a fun person to just hang with and I’d love to see some of her paintings.
14. What is something you would change about the series? More Nico! Seriously, I love the kid and I’d like to get to see more of him. I doubt we will see much of him in Heroes of Olympus, but it’s the one thing I really would want to change/add.
15. What is something you would never change about the series? The relationships. I love the progression of relationships throughout the series - friendships and family relationships and romances alike. They don’t feel rushed at all and I love how well and believably Riordan writes them out.

I’m going to go with Jubilee from the X-Men comics and place her in Hermes. She likes playing jokes, and she’s a pretty decent thief (as she had to be when she was living on the streets), and she sometimes reminds me of the Stoll brothers in her personality/demeanor.

1. Freedom - I feel trapped sometimes and that I won’t be able to get out of the town/life I’m in right now.
2. Self-fulfillment - To be able to accomplish all my goals (this would be my self-fulfillment) would be one of the greatest things I could have in my life.
3. Beauty - I’m not just talking about outer beauty. Beauty also counts as what is on the inside, and I deeply wish I could consider myself to be beautiful on the inside.
4. Security - To be sure that I have something to fall back on if any of my ventures fails? Sounds pretty appealing to me.
5. Wealth - This goes along with security. To be able to afford college, to be able to not worry about food or house payments or any type of expenses, and be able to help others out with the money I’ve got…
