Wasn’t expecting so much wind today during my jog. Guess I figured out why that happened, not that it really matters. It was just like an extra challenge so it was no big deal. Until I found a little guy who had gotten swept up in it. Or flew into my face, I didn’t think they could fly until today. So anyone know how to take care of bunnies? I have ( Read more... )

Google is a good resource for learning about these things, Kai-kun. Do you want some help?

Unless you want to find its home, you could always keep it, Kai-kun.

Not sure I can really find its home anymore... so I guess I gotta take care of the little guy.

There are plenty of foods available for it to eat, but I would get it checked for any diseases first.

Yeah I'll get right on that. Seems like the harder job will be keepin' things away that wanna eat the little guy...

You were hit in the face with a flying baby rabbit while out jogging? ...Well, I guess it'll make for another example of something bizarrely random that's happened to you while here that you can tell the folks back home about, at least. I take it you're thinking of keeping him if you're looking to take care of him, though. As for what to do for him with that in mind, while the internet will probably help, might want to also visit the Oracle Library and see what they've got. I'm sure it holds a treasure trove of knowledge on woodland critters that came directly from Artemis-sama herself.

I'd recommend keeping him away from the Hades cabin though. Osoreko-chan roams around freely whenever I'm here, and if the rabbit is really tiny, I wouldn't put it past her to try and eat him. She's been real good about getting rid of any field mice that find their way in here, so a slightly larger rodent would likely just look like an extra large helping for dinner to her.

Man what is with everyone havin' pets that are gonna eat this little guy...

But thanks for the heads up anyway, Hiroshi. I'll take a look after I'm done lookin' things up online.

She's a tarantula. What were you expecting her response to be towards something small enough to be viable prey? If you want the rabbit to actually make a friend with another pet here, I don't know, have him interact with the Hephaestus tanuki or something. She seems to be as good-natured as everyone else in that cabin and I don't think tanukis eat rabbits......probably not, at least.

So, if you're keeping it, you thought up a name yet?

Tch, Namari will probably mother the little fluff. Or ignore it, not really sure. But hey, bring the fluff by and we can see if Namari wants a friend.

Thanks for the links man! At least there's someone not out to make him into food.

It's cool, no worries. At least you're not volunteering him for food.
