sometimes titles are really hard. i need something that excites me and makes me want to type more. so it always takes me longer on papers because i need a title before i continue with the work. and i try to make them funny or having a meaning behind them. Mark and I took a class called "Philosophy of Science Fiction" where we read a cool paper about how anarchy wouldn't work because the only people who want it are the universally strong. The argument goes something like this:

1. In anarchy, if you are not as strong as someone, your possessions and health are forfeit to them.

2. These people would gladly pay great amounts to hire other strong people to protect them, as it's still better than being robbed.

3. These security agencies would mass in order to become more effective at their job, making their livelihood much easier.

4. Therefore, military government will develop out of anarchy.

I thought it was pretty convincing. The final conclusion is that anarchists dislike oppression most but anarchy would lead to military government, the opposite of what they want.

that seems interesting...maybe...tho...it wouldn't be the military but a bunch of gangs...LIKE "Warriors" that was a kewl 80's movie about what the world would be like if gangs ruled cities. and there were lots of gangs. i can see that happening..and if you're weak, you wouldn't hire the gang but join it...or marry you daughter or sister off into it..unless there was a girl gang. because that one would kick ass the most sin city style! something like that ( ... )
