My 1oz. of Doritos is 4pts. Same as a Fiber One bar.
How does that work??

I am cynical. I think the change was all for revenue.

I think you're right. I bet people got so good at point calculating they didn't need to pay for the program any more.

That, and I think all the other food manufacturers started making things that fit into the WW plan (Fiber one bars) and WW was losing out on their food sales - why would I buy $7 WW bars when I can get $2 Fiber one bars that are the same thing??

And there cookbooks too. I checked the Borders shelves and we have at least 5 "old" WW cookbooks. I wonder if they will crack down on internet information sharing. It will only be a matter of time until someone figures out and posts a new online calculator.

But it is the program they do in Europe. I guess.

it seems like they do change it every year or two. its all about money, i guarantee it. they are a business. a girl i know who goes to ww said her usual meeting has like 15 people and it was PACKED last night, like standing room only.

Yeah, I'm half where you are with WW and half hopeful. The only thing making me feel hopeful is that they do consider protein.

However, I was up a pound today. And I still have like 35 extra points for the week... I think for next week I'm going to put away the scale and dive in to give it a fair shot.

But still, I'd be curious to see how much their revenue increases.

I am officially starting the plan TODAY - so I will see how it goes. Yesterday I didn't eat all my points. I just keep thinking that my grocery bills are going to get expensive with more meat and fresh fruits. Haha.
