In an attempt to look professional and not give off much of a "goth" vibe, I had brought color into my wardrobe for work, never wearing all black even if my outfit was highlighted by just a colorful scarf. I bought pinks and some browns colors I could incorporated with black. I'm not extreme looking even without doing this, but somehow people

*snicker* Reminds me of when I first started my job--I thought I was "blending" perfectly. Even my tattoos were covered and my nose ring was out. But around six months on, after I had started dressing more like myself, a co-worker laughed when I said I thought I'd hidden it all well. She said something to the effect of "honey, please."

Just yesterday, I had one of the moms from a baby group over and I said "I suppose you could say I have goth leanings," and she looked at me and said "well, duh..." : )

Guess some of us are cool as fuck no matter what we wear... ; )
