Let us know how that works please. I would be quite interested to hear about the variety of reactions you get from your neighbours.
If the neighbours kids came knocking on our door, I'd probably struggle with the unprepared, because we don't tend to have lollies lying around the house. But if asked, I'd make an effort to play along.

Somebody did that in our area a couple of years ago. Robbie and I were out so we didn't participate. They dropped notes and balloons in letterboxes. They were very organised. I know they did our street and Mum got one and she's 5-6 blocks up the side street from us.
I don't think it was that successful because it wasn't repeated.
