In Elaine's dream, she's flying over a familiar plane. Centaurs gallop along it, keeping pace with her shadow. The light of the sun is warm against her back, against her wings. [If Rei is anywhere in this dream, she is in the lake, standing hip deep in the water and naked except for some bandages around her limbs and over one eye.

She is aware this is a dream, because Rei has never had dreams of her own. When Elaine arrives, she just watches her quietly, uncertain if she's aware of her presence and not wanting to interrupt if not.]
