Dang. Thought so. Good for sexing up the cast, though!

His performance in Female Agents was incredible, and he behaved how I imagine Chauvelin would - waving his hand at underlings to commence torture, remaining cool and unflappable, having only one weak spot and then totally losing it, etc. His chemistry with one of the actresses was also powerful - so no, he's out ;)

Hmm, his face might just fit! (I like Patrick Malahaide, too, but I'm aiming to fantasy cast actors of the same nationality as the characters!)

i think my fantasy chauvelin would be danny huston, personally. he's a great, intense actor.

Lola Rennt is obviously the big one and I think you can see there how he'd be good, though his character is not a bad guy.
