...this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

So, does someone who actually understands this (unlike me, who only speaks English) care to shed a little light on what in the world is going on here?

For the curious, the rest is up on YouTube.

whoa. can't believe i just watched that and lived.

lamest fight scene ever.

no idea what they were saying, but it was likely beginning-of-film-story-filler with bad acting abound.

How do you think I feel. I watched the whole thing. XD

(...it's not that's bad, really. Confusing, because I have no idea what's being said, but not terrible.)

Thank you. I made it. :3

And yep (though I'm unsure who actually made the film). The 1934 movie is my favorite. The icon is from the scene where Percy is speaking to his men and hears Higgybottom Winterbottom enter the other room.

Yes, it's horrible, but it's deliberately a parody. The song, in the 2nd part I think, that the various Englishmen at the Fishermen's Rest sing is set to Loch Lomond, so they're not even trying to be serious. They did other famous "classic tales" too.

The core group behind this is called Quartetto Cetra. I found this by looking up the actors/singers who were credited on YouTube on Wikipedia. To further confuse matters, in an amusing way, the fellow playing Armand was married to the lady playing Marguerite.

The Wikipedia entry on the group was kind of interesting.
