LJ feed for Demode / no more notifications here!

So I have gotten sick of cross-posting content from my costuming blog (www.demodecouture.com), but I know that some of you like getting notified... so instead I've set up a feed that you can subscribe to.   If you click on SUBSCRIBE, you'll see my posts on your LJ friends page.  The only hitch is that if you comment within LJ I won't know about it

I have a friend who wants to create a syndicated livejournal feed from one of their other non-LJ blogs. I've looked at LJ's FAQs but they don't explain HOW to create it in the first place.

Would you mind giving me the idiots guide to how to create one?

Their FAQs can really suck! If you dig around, you will eventually find this one, which gives you the main info: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=137&view=full

FYI you can only do it if you have a paid account.
