In any case, they took effect the first day. I had fast heart rate and everything, and that was before I read the side effects. Maybe it was a shock to my system?
The BENEFITS take two weeks, about the time the side effects wear off.
And yeah, dad's a pharmacist. I know a damn good bit of O-chem. And, there's an LJ support group called "crazymeds" for people who are on stuff, it gives you hints and tricks your doctor would never tell you, like what to never ever ever take (Geodon, Effexor; aka 'Side Effexor", Remeron...), how to know your P-doc is treating you like a lab rat, lowdows on the industry, how not to get tricked into buying a high cost patent cheat (called a right angle rotaing isomer...I'll explain if you call, I don't feel like aggrivating my cysts...), and so on.
First time introducing the chemical into your system, of course you'd notice it. You were also looking for it. It does take time for it to really do its thing though, it's not a wonder pill that fixes things in an hour or two. Stick with it.
