I guess things weren't going as well for him as I thought. I also found out another friend's FiL died on Sunday. Not so much emotional involvement in that one other than my friend's kids lost their grandfather. I need a nap.

Are you home today?

R has early release day, she can't go next door, because they are unavailable, just wanting to know when/if I have to come home from work. I don't know how I missed every one of your journal entries... I didn't think you were really using LJ but it looks like you did for a while! You should start up again. It's interesting for me to find out what you're up to these days. You seem like such a different person than the one I knew all those years ago. Marriage and kids sure change a person huh?

I read something about you thinking about going back to school a while back... you should do that. I'm in school, and I love it.

How old is your son now?

I am actualy back in school now. Just started my second semester at North Hennepin Community College, majoring (if I get accepted into the program) in non-invasive cardiology technology. Up to my armpits in anatomy and physiology right now, plus algebra and medical terminology. heh. I work full time too as a counselor in a group home for people with persistent mental illness. Ironically enough with how much Rob has been in my thoughts right now, I had training again yesterday in suicide prevention.

The chimp is 8 now. He's going to be making his first communion in April. He's not much shorter than me now, either; maybe a foot or so.

Good for you! I'm in the cardiology field, sort of: I'm an intellectual property legal assistant at Medtronic, in their cardiac rhythm disease management division.

Wow, 8 huh? Before you know it, he'll be driving! My older two are out of the house now. My "baby" is 13 going on 14.
